NB Plus is a high-performance, easy to use and cost-effective intumescent paint that is spray applied to steel, giving structural steelwork enhanced fire protection ratings of between 15 and 120 minutes.
Proven to ASTM (ICAL) standards internationally NB Plus is currently undergoing full assessment to EN 13381-4 the European Standard for structural steel fire resistance.
NB Plus differs from other Fire Resistant steel products in that it does not require a build-up of multi-layer primer, base and topcoats – thus saving costs in application and labour time and less product is ultimately used. Added to this is an industry-leading spread/coverage rate, this means NB Plus is the future of FR for Steel.
