A construction company building a 27 floor apartment complex in London required an innovative solution for fire corridors, plant rooms and underground car parks. After a thorough review of the plans, and discussions with architects and planners, we specified our NB Plus product across the whole job; Fire Corridors were re-specified to use just one skin of plaster board coated with NB Plus (saving the cost of an additional plaster board skin), and concrete surfaces were also coated with NB Plus to again provide addition fire rating without the need for encasement.
A Timber Construction company required additional Fire Rating for Timber Houses on a residential development, at a very late stage of construction. However, NB Wood Gard and NB Original were able to be specified, being ‘paint-on’ solutions capable of being applied during any stage of the build process.
